At least I’m seriously thinking about it. I feel like I’ve exhausted yet another of these online journals/diaries (undoubtedly a product of too much ranting and incessant chatter) to no avail. I haven’t been able to update this blog for what seems like ages. But more than that, I seem to have no more drive to do so.

Ergo, change is in order.

Our Communications 12 teacher had us make online magazines by group. Check this one out for “fun, upbeat and relateable articles injected with as much humor as we can muster”!

I want to travel and see the world. I want to spend money on clothes and literally look like a million bucks. I want to walk the streets of who-knows-where and get lost in some foreign soil — fall in the Suez Canal however disgusting that experience will turn out to be.

I want to get philosophical under a tree (Grab a picnic basket and maybe I’ll humor you with all the mindless notions that have been building up in my head). I want to talk about literature, meet a poet .. or maybe a hippie. No, scratch that. Be a hippie.

I want to go skydiving just to have a feel of what it may be like to fly. Or get (almost) eaten by a bear. I’m honestly not that picky.

But most of all, I want a magic lamp to materialize in front of me. Or for that blasted fairy godmother – whose been MIA for the past 18 years – to get her plump bum here ASAP. Hell, I’d even settle for Santa (cuss word) Clause.

Haven’t you ever had your head in the clouds?

Well, I’ve decided to leave mine there for whatever good that will do me.

I believe I’ve fallen into it.

Braided Days Accessories

Naturally, it took me forever to come up with a name. But I’m pretty pleased with the outcome — for now.

I even made a poem. I’m no Sylvia Plath (and would rather be not her emotionally, too), but I suppose this will have to do.

She braided my hair
And left me a tangled mess
As the sun seeps through
A crack in the wall
I fumbled with my hands
And found solace
On the ticking clock
As I re-did it on my own.

But I make them anyway — more out of  habit than anything else. My parents think it’s good for my emotional well-being. And we all know I’m in dire need of some help in that area.

1. Live a healthy lifestyle.

I’ve finally figured out the wisdom in MIMS’s song This Is Why I’m Hot Fat.

What started out as a harmless idea to get a thinner bod for my brother’s wedding turned into a fresh new goal. So (1) I’m lessening red meat consumption plus fast food (Hint: Mcdo delivery), (2) gymming & jogging, and most importantly (3) not wussing out.

2. Be a squillionaire.

I shall learn and earn (incidentally rhymes, too) my way out of debt and financial insecurity. That isn’t to say that my parents have been duly neglecting me. But I’m a woman and I have unnecessarily expensive crap to buy.

3. Stop it with the overspending.

Loosely translated: stop buying unnecessarily expensive crap. Money doesn’t spring up from the ground like potatoes. And for the record, your ATM machine isn’t limitless. And that shiny little plastic card? — Honey, it isn’t magic.

4. Call it quits with your poisonous relationship with procrastinating.

Cut all ties and leave those ropes untethered!

“Thou shalt live all Zen-like”. Apparently, studies show multi-tasking sucks the life out of you. I need a huge order of focus, please.

5. Remember what we talked about?

Yuh-huh. Stick to it.

The only problem is, I don’t know where to start. Any suggestions? I sold a few to my roomate, Lexi, earlier. And I accidentally did get a few customers over lunch. But I dunno if it’s that good an idea to come up to people like a lunatic.

However this turns out, watch out for my great dive into the business world sans the  buyer outfit and instead donning a crisp seller (insert stellar) suit!
